After three months of closure due to the Covid pandemic, the Government's Road Map enabled us to reopen for Easter. Unfortunately all the Covid related restrictions still apply which means our seating capacity is reduced by about 60%. This in turn means that seats can get "booked" very quickly, leading to a waiting list.
Our Rector retired in January which further limits the services that can be provided. Consequently there is only one service across the Benefice each Sunday at 10.00 am, meaning this church now has a service on the fourth Sunday of the month. There is an extra service here at 10.00 am when there are five Sundays in the month such as in May and August.
Our regular online services continue and comprise audio-based worship on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings. These may be accessed via our Benefice web site http://www.blmsbenefice.org/. On the home page click on the upper black and red "sausage" button which will take you to a page where you can click on the latest online service.
The current services plan can be found on the Services/Forthcoming Services tab of the Benefice web site. This page also contains details of the contacts for each of the four churches.
We have all missed meeting in fellowship and it will be good to meet up and give thanks and glory to God again collectively, albeit in a limited way and still subject to Covid restrictions.
