DESCRIPTION:When is a fete not a fete?\n\nNot a trick question\, merely an
  alert. The plans for this year’s fete have been pushed along by a very 
 (very!) small team of volunteers. All the expectations of the day are ther
 e\, and the stalls are in place\, led by our band of stalwarts for the day
 . However a set of circumstances came together in the past couple of weeks
  that would prove too burdensome for that small team pulling it all togeth
 er.\n\nAn alternative plan had to be found to save the day. And our very o
 wn village pub stepped up to the mark. The fete\, as planned\, will now ta
 ke place in and around the pub site and\, yes\, there will still be a dog 
 show. In essence\, nothing has changed other than the location. So on Satu
 rday 20 June\, at 1pm\, rather than making your way to the playing field\,
  wend your way to the pub - where there will be no entry fee.\n\nEvery pen
 ny that is raised on the stalls will go directly to the church funds or PT
 A and the pub will make a donation as well.\n\nSo the answer to the questi
 on “when is a fete not a fete” is when the essence of the fete is a fe
 stival of fun at our pub. Come and enjoy the fun on Saturday 20 June betwe
 en 1- 4pm\, at the Half Moon and Spread Eagle.
