DESCRIPTION:There is no service at St Margaret's on this day\, but at St M
 ary the Virgin in Micheldever there will be a Benefice Service celebrating
  the Patronal Festival of St Mary. This service\, with Holy Communion\, wi
 ll be led by Benefice Rector Rev’d Dr Robert Rees\, the Venerable Richar
 d Brand\, Archdeacon of Winchester\, & the Ministry Team. The service will
  also feature the Benefice Choir\, which\, under the musical directorship 
 of Ian Parker\, will present the anthem 'I will Sing with the Spirit' by J
 ohn Rutter. All are welcome to attend this service.\n\nRichard will be tal
 king to us about the "Growing Rural Parishes" project. This is a really ex
 citing project\, where rural benefices receive national church funding to 
 establish new initiatives aimed at growing their church communities. The D
 ever Benefice was selected to be part of this late last year\, and a core 
 team representing each of the churches has met a few times to pray and dre
 am about what we could be doing to bring a little of God's kingdom here on
  earth in the Dever Valley. Richard is very committed to this project\, an
