  Communion in church - a time to celebrate families and the church family 
 to which we all belong. \nTraditionally people travelled back to the churc
 h where they had been baptised\, for this celebration and they would pick 
 flowers to take with them. In the middle of Lent\, it is also a day when t
 he fasting rules were relaxed & Simnel cakes were made and taken home to m
 others on that day. Flowers\, refreshments\, children’s activities and S
 imnel cake will add to our celebrations so do join us!
