DESCRIPTION:Today\, we gather at the foot of the cross.\n\nWe are offering
  three reflections\, one every 20 minutes in the first hour\, and will the
 n gather to break bread together from 2pm.\n\nOur Good Friday liturgy is a
  solemn and powerful act of worship in which we remember the suffering and
  death of Jesus Christ. It is a day of silence\, of starkness\, of truth l
 aid bare. We do not celebrate Holy Communion\; instead\, we reflect on the
  cost of love and the depth of God’s mercy.\n\nThis year\, our liturgy i
 s preceded by three short reflections\, each around fifteen minutes long\,
  offering space to journey more deeply into the mystery of the cross. Thes
 e reflections invite us to pause\, to watch\, and to wonder:\n– at the w
 eight of the world Jesus carried\,\n– at the courage of his obedience\,\
 n– and at the hope hidden even in death.\n\nFollowing the reflections\, 
 we will continue in prayer\, in scripture\, and in the veneration of the c
 ross. Together\, we stand in the shadow of the crucified Christ\, knowing 
 that even here\, we are not alone.\n\nWe wait at the cross – not as a pl
 ace of defeat\, but as the threshold of transformation.
