DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday marks the beginning of the most important few 
 days in the Christian year.\n\nIt remembers the night when Jesus shared hi
 s final meal with his friends — what we now call the Last Supper. On tha
 t same night\, he did something unexpected: he knelt down and washed their
  feet.\n\nIt’s from this moment we get the word “Maundy”\, from the 
 Latin mandatum\, meaning commandment — because Jesus gave a new command:
 \n\n “Love one another\, as I have loved you.”\n\nThis isn’t just ab
 out remembering a meal.\nIt’s about remembering a way of life.\n\nA life
  shaped by:\n• humility instead of status\n• service instead of power\
 n• love that gives itself away\n\nMaundy Thursday is quiet. Reflective. 
 Honest.\n\nIt reminds us that faith isn’t just something we believe — 
 it’s something we do.\n\nThis year at St Anne’s\, we’ll be marking M
 aundy Thursday together with a traditional\, reflective service as we begi
 n the journey toward Easter. You are also invited to stay after the servic
 e for a time of personal reflection and quiet.\n\nYou’d be very welcome
