  Easter eggs!\n\nMessage from Revd Claire\n\nWe are now in Passiontide\, t
 he most moving week in\n\nthe Christian calendar.\n\nA time of mourning th
 at Jesus would suffer agony for\nus\, yet also knowing the immediate joy o
 f his\n\nresurrection. \n\n I hope to see you at one of our church servi
 ces as we\nacknowledge that Jesus is the reason for the season! \nI wish 
 you all a blessed and joy-filled Easter. \nPrayers and thoughts for Easte
 r Day\nOn the first day of the week the disciples went to the\ntomb\, and 
 they found the stone rolled away from the\n\ntomb. Alleluia!\nJesus Christ
  is risen today\, Alleluia!\nOur triumphant holy day\, Alleluia!\nWho did 
 once upon the cross\, Alleluia!\nSuffer to redeem our loss. Alleluia!\nChr
 ist yesterday and today\, the beginning and the\n\nend\, Alpha and Omega.\
 nAll time belongs to him\, and all ages.\nTo him be glory and power\, thro
 ugh every age and\n\nfor ever. Amen.\nGod our Father\,\nby raising Christ 
 your Son\nyou conquered the power of death\nand opened for us the way to e
 ternal life.\nLet our service today raise us up\nand renew our lives by th
 e Spirit that is within us.\nGrant this through our Lord Jesus Christ\, yo
 ur Son\,\nwho lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit\,\none God\, f
 or ever and ever. Amen.\nLord\, the resurrection of Your Son\nhas given us
  new life and renewed hope.\nHelp us to live as new people\nin pursuit of 
 the Christian ideal.\nGrant us wisdom to know what we must do\,\nthe will 
 to want to do it\,\nthe courage to undertake it\,\nthe perseverance to con
 tinue to do it\,\nand the strength to complete it. Amen.\nAt Easter\, poig
 nant memories of friends and\nfamily\, who have died come flooding back.\n
 We miss them but thank them for all their love\nand guidance\, and for all
  they have meant to us.\nFor Christians who cannot celebrate openly\ntoday
  because they live under repressive\,\nintolerant and brutal regimes.\nFor
  family get-togethers\, meals enjoyed and\n\nlaughter shared.\n\nFor the b
 eauty and wonderful sounds of our Easter\ncountryside – nature at its mo
 st joyous and hopeful.
