More details next week.\n\nClaire writes……\n\nIt is with great sadness
that we learned of the death of\n\nMaggie Pearse last week.\n\nA friend t
o so many of us\, the voice of reason and\nlaughter\, Maggie was a woman w
ho gave a lot of\ntime\, energy and love to Broughton Hackett village\n\na
nd St Leonard’s Church.\nShe will be sorely missed. \nDetails of her fu
neral will follow when known. \nMay she rest in peace and rise in glory.\
n\nA prayer\n\nO Lord God\, we thank you for the years you have\ngiven us\

to love and care for.\n\nLord Jesus\, please heal the wound of parting\nwi
th your gentle touch. Amen.\nMore thoughts for Lent\n\nThird of ten though
ts during Lent about ‘praying’\nFood banks provide lifelines to hundre
ds of families.\nWhen you next go to your favourite supermarket\,\nthink o
f those with too little to eat.\nWith a prayer in your heart\, why not pur
chase and\ndonate some urgently needed items to our local food\n\nbank?\nS
end out your love today.\n\nFourth of ten thoughts during Lent about ‘pr
aying’\nIt’s good to know that someone is thinking about you\nand wish
ing you well. Why not return the favour? Just\nslow your busy life for a m
oment\, relax and think of\nthat person\, wishing them well and all life
’s blessings\n\non them.\n\nTime are hard and our local food banks are s
truggling\nto keep up with the needs of so many.\nWith Covid in 2020-21 th
ere were 3.9 million\nchildren living in poverty in the UK. That&#39\;s
  27 per cent\nof children\, or eight in a classroom of 30.\nPost covid
and with the current economic climate\,\nthings have probably got even wor
se….\nStaggering and shameful figures.\nLet us do what we can to help th
e Worcester Food\nBank (collection point: The Pantry\, Peopleton) and the\
nPershore Food Bank (collection point: St Nicholas\n\nChurch\, Peopleton).
\n\nIf you or anyone you know would welcome a visit and\na chat with Revd
