  on Saturday 24 June. A full\nEnglish breakfast will cost £10 for an adul
 t and £3 for\nthose under 10. Tickets are available from Kim\n(840911)\, 
 Carole (840879)\, Caroline (840630) and\n\nDiana (840611).\n\nAll profits 
 will be in aid of St Nicholas Church.\nWhite Ladies Aston’s Church Fete\
 nCome along to Redfern House on Saturday 24 June\nwhere the Worcester Re-e
 nactors will be opening the\nafternoon’s proceedings. Come and enjoy all
  the\nnormal traditional attractions and visit the church\nwith its intere
 sting photographic and archaeological\n\nexhibitions.\n\nOn Sunday 25 June
  the Worcester Re-enactors will\nreturn to the village from 10.30am to 4.0
 0pm. They\nwill set up camp on the field in front of the church\nand are e
 xtending a warm welcome to anyone who\nwould like to come along. A free ev
 ent with a range\nof activities. White Ladies Aston played a key role\ndur

 red\nand accepted the post of Priest in Charge of the\n\nBowland Benefice.
 \n\nShe has heard from Archdeacon Robert that the\nlicensing service will 
 be on Sunday 9 July at 6.00pm in\nthe church of St John the Baptist\, Whit
 e Ladies Aston.\nMore details later – watch this space!\nBishop John say
 s of her appointment….\nYour appointment is very good news for the Benef
 ice\nand for the Pershore and Evesham Deanery. May God\nbring you much joy
  in this new stage of your Christian\nministry and\, in the meantime\, ble
 ss you as you\nprepare for your new role.\nFathers’ Day\n\nToday is reco
 gnised across a lot of the world as\nFathers’ Day - from the USA to Paki
 stan\; from Mexico\nto South Africa\; from Greece to Canada.\nA survey a f
 ew years ago showed that in Britain the\naverage dad spends 4 hours a week
  as his children’s\ntaxi-driver\, 27 days a year doing home DIY and if y
 ou\nput a price on all the times he ‘rehouses’ spiders and\nother cree
 py-crawlies\, he would be a wealthy man!\nSome may regard Fathers’ Day a
 s just an opportunity\nfor the card manufacturers to make a bit of money\n
 but it can be an opportunity to think about what being\na dad means\, and 
 to express love and gratitude and\nmaybe understanding and forgiveness too
 .\nGod\, bless all the fathers in the world.\nGuide them to be good role m
 odels and loving to all\ntheir children. Help them to be a father like You
  are.\nGive them grace and patience to handle situations in a\n\nloving wa
 y. Amen.\n\nA thank you for all those men and women who have\nguided us an
 d supported us in our lives\, in both the\nbig things and the small. For t
 hose who have shaped\nour thoughts\, our outlooks and our attitudes.\nAn o
 pportunity to reassess where parental\nrelationships have gone wrong\, whe
 re family bonds\nhave been broken and hurt and anger persist.\nMaybe now i
 s the time to have the courage to say\nI’m sorry\, can we start putting 
 things right?\n\nA Prayer for today\nGod of life – of all life and of ea
 ch life\nyou are before us and you are behind us\;\nyou are in the light a
 nd in the darkness\;\nyou see our most public face\nand you know the secre
 t thoughts of every heart.\nWe bring the faith that is in us and the doubt
 \;\nwe bring the joy that is in us and the sorrow\;\nwe bring the courage 
 that is in us\, and the fear.\nGive us the grace to walk in the way of Chr
