  Upton Snodsbury\, will be held a fund-\nraising event in aid of St Kenelm
 ’s church.\nA traditional English home-made cream tea will be\nserved an
 d there will be a raffle and bring and buy\n\nstall too.\n\nEveryone is we
 lcome to come along\, to meet up with\nfriends and neighbours\, and to rai
 se some money for\n\nthe church.\n\nJanet’s address is Perry Close Cotta
 ge\, Pershore Road\,\n\nUpton Snodsbury.\n\nThis week’s service is at St
  John the Baptist\, White\nLadies Aston. A chance to meet up with friends 
 from\naround the Benefice and worship together.\nNext week’s service –

 l be preparing candidates for a\nConfirmation Service on Sunday 5 November
  at\n11.00am with Bishop John in St John the Baptist\n\nChurch\, Fladbury.
 \n\nTheir intention is to hold four confirmation\npreparation evenings wit
 h candidates from the\nBowland Benefice\, Five-Alive Parish and Bredon Hil
 l\nGroup of Churches and any other neighbouring\n\nbenefices.\n\nThey will
  take the themes for discussion and learning\nfrom Rowan Williams’ book\
 , Being a Christian - from\nthe book’s four chapters on Baptism\, the Bi
 ble\, the\nEucharist\, and Prayer. Katryn\, Claire and Sarah will\neach ac
 company an evening.\nIf you would like to be confirmed (or baptised and\nc
 onfirmed) then please in the first instance\, contact\nClaire for an initi
 al discussion.\nThe four sessions will be held on\nMonday 18 September\, M
 onday 9 October\,\nWednesday 18 October\, and Wednesday 25 October\nfrom 7

 is but a memory\nand tomorrow is only a vision.\nBut today\, if well-lived
