DESCRIPTION:On Sunday July 20th our 11 am service will be led by one of th
 e Assistant Bishops of the diocese: Bishop Anne Hollinghurst.  In this ser
 vice she will baptise two people from St Mary's\, and also confirm people 
 from St Mary's\, from Wribbenhall and our neighbouring parish Kidderminste
 r West.\n\nConfirmation is when people who have been baptised (in recent t
 imes or years ago) wish to "confirm" what was done at their baptism\, and 
 "confirm" for themselves what was said on their behalf.  The Bishop confir
 ms them by laying a hand on them\, anointing their forehead with blessed o
 il\, and praying for the Holy Spirit of God to be present in them.  This a
 ct is also confirming the love and grace of God towards them. \n\nBaptism 
 and confirmation are significant moments in a person's Christian journey.\
