DESCRIPTION:The coming of Jesus Christ changed the world and many people s
 till today discover the difference he makes to their own lives.\n\nChristm
 as is the festival when we mark the birth of Jesus\, and celebrate the fac
 t that in Jesus God has come among us.\n\nJoin us as we celebrate and give
  thanks for this priceless gift.\n\nDecember 24th:  On CHRISTMAS EVE AT 3 
 pm we have our Crib service - short\, informal\, Ideal for young children.
   Together we make the journey to Bethlehem\, and with our carols and our 
 crib figures prepare for the birth of Jesus.\nWe explain the symbolism of 
 the Christingle (the orange with a red ribbon as a holder for a candle).  
 We light them at the service\,  and then children can take them home after
 wards.\n\nLATER ON CHRISTMAS EVE we have our Midnight Communon - actually 
 starting at 11.30 pm.  This is the service in which we receive the consecr
 ated Bread and Wine\, which are themselves symbols of Jesus coming to us. 
  One Christmas carol says "It came upon a midnight clear" - and at midnigh
 t we are welcoming the Christchild in our service\n\nDecember 25th: On CHR
 ISTMAS DAY itself we have our Christmas Morning Communion at 10 am - again
  the service when we receive the Bread and Wine.  As we receive these\, we
  pray that we may receive God afresh\, now and into the future.\n“O come
  let us adore him\, Christ the Lord…..”\n\nIf you are not sure about r
 eceiving the Bread and Wine of Communion - still come and receive a simple
  blessing.\n\nThen on Sunday 28th we resume our normal service pattern wit
 h out 11 am Eucharist.\n\nWe invite you to join us at this great Festival.
