Church of England Diocese of Worcester Saint Michael and All Angels Norton Stourbridge

Interim Service Pattern for Sunday Morning Services, Jan – Mar 2021

18 Dec 2020, noon
Church_news Notices

As we have done since March, we will maintain one principle service across the benefice each Sunday morning, but want to make it feel more appropriate and personal for both churches. The following interim pattern will be adopted, starting on Sunday 3rd. January:

1st. Sunday – Eucharist service, led and live-streamed from St James

2nd. Sunday – Morning Praise with Holy Communion service, led and live-streamed from

St Michael’s

3rd. Sunday – Celebrate! service, led and live-streamed from St James, followed by Holy Communion

4th. Sunday – Morning Praise with Holy Communion service, led and live-streamed from St Michael’s

5th. Sunday – as it occurs; to be led and live-streamed from St James and St Michael’s alternatively (first occurrence - 31st. January 2021 - from St James)

We are now allocating service leaders to each of these services for the first three months of 2021. Please bear with us as we implement this change. Our other services (on Sunday evenings and mid-week) will continue as now. We will be conducting a fuller review of our ongoing service pattern in the New Year.

John Martin

Communion services on alternate Wednesdays at 10.00 a.m.

They will be held on the 1st., 3rd. & 5th. Wednesdays of the month.

Holy Communion will consist of bread (including gluten free) only, no wine.

Please book through Chris in the office on 393647 or email.

It is important that you book for both Wednesday & Sunday services as there is a limit to the numbers allowed under the present rules.

Polite Notice
Can we ask everyone to stay in the seat they were guided to for the Communion Services, and/or any other service you are in church for. With the Covid restrictions we have a very limited number of seats available, so any moving about stops us from being able to use those seats for 48 hours, also we have to have 2 meters between everyone.
Thanking you all for your cooperation and understanding in these very trying times.
