Safeguarding

The Church of England is committed to actively promoting a safer church.

The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the Church.

If you have any concerns about safeguarding (the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults within our congregation) then please note that there is a SAFEGUARDING tab at the bottom of this webpage which will take you to information from the Church Of England including contact details for appropriate organisations.

If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from a Safeguarding Advisor or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.

Farlington Church's safeguarding representative is Sally Wright and she can be contacted by phone (01347 878745) or you can speak to our vicar, Rev Steve (01347 810251) or email him at [email protected]
