Reopening for Services!

Occasional services are now being held in our Benefice churches and those for St Nicholas' Husthwaite may be found on this page.  Arrangements differ from normal and the details are as follows: 

• Please let the churchwarden (Roy - 01347 868 195) know that you are planning to attend. Thank You.

• When you arrive, we will ask for your contact details for NHS Test and Trace to be held by us for 3 weeks. You do not have to give your details.

• You will be shown to a seat, where we ask you to stay until the end of the service unless asked to move.

• There will be no singing and we ask you to make all responses in a soft voice

• The collection plate will be by the door on your way in

• Services will be short – between 30 and 40 minutes

• the arrangements for communion will be explained on the day.  They include sharing only in the bread and following a one way system around the church when coming for communion.

• At the end of the service, it is not possible to chat in the building. If you would like to chat to a friend, please remain at a social distance in the churchyard, keeping away from paths where others may need to pass.

In addition, the church is open for private prayer on Sundays (9am to 1pm) and Wednesdays (2pm - 6pm).
