Making a Spiritual Communion

Many of you will be missing receiving Holy Communion. The Book of Common Prayer instructs us that if we offer ourselves in penitence and faith, giving thanks for the redemption won by Christ crucified, we may truly ‘eat and drink the Body and Blood of our Saviour Christ’, although we cannot receive the sacrament physically in ourselves. This is called 'Making a Spiritual Communion' You can find an on-line version of this by scrolling to the bottom of this internet link here, or by going to our page 'making a Spiritual Communion' and downloading the leaflet.
