Current guidance from government and Public Health experts, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York now allows us to hold services in our churches.
There are still some restrictions:
To allow for social distancing numbers attending may be limited. We ask therefore that you contact one of the churchwardens at least 24 hours before a service if you are expecting to join us;
Please bring and wear a suitable mask/face covering inside the church and follow the guidance of the churchwardens as you enter;
Hand sanitiser will be available at the church door;
The Host (wafers) will be offered but not wine at communion services;
Singing (of hymns) is not allowed but there may be music played during the service.
Despite these restrictions we remain as the living church and we reach out to all in whatever way we can.
Our church is open for personal prayer every Monday morning (8am-1pm) and Thursday afternoon (2pm-6pm) and you are welcome to come inside and sit for a while. If you would like to go into the church at other times, please get in touch with one of the churchwardens.
We would also love to welcome you at our Harton Benefice Morning Worship on alternate Sundays at 10am. Join us from your home.
Please visit our Benefice website where you will find resources to help us to be together in prayer and worship on-line.
The website will also post any updates to the present directives: www.sandhuttongroup.org.uk
Ours thoughts and prayers are, as always, with you.
Be safe, be kind, stay strong.
