DESCRIPTION:Plough Sunday is the traditional English celebration of the be
 ginning of the agricultural year.   Celebrations involve bringing a plough
 share into a church with prayers for the blessing of the land. It is tradi
 tionally held on the Sunday after Epiphany and\, accordingly\, work in the
  fields did not begin until the day after Plough Sunday: Plough Monday. Al
 though the nature of farming has changed over the centuries\, Plough Sunda
 y is still seen as a way of celebrating farming and the work of farmers.
