  Seven Last Words from the Cross. Through scripture\, short reflections\, 
 hymns and silence\, we will sit prayerfully at the foot of the cross and c
 onsider the depth of Christ’s love\, forgiveness and sacrifice for the w
 orld. \n\nThe themes we will explore include forgiveness\, suffering\, hum
 an need\, hope in darkness\, and the promise of God’s grace even in the 
 face of death. The service is unhurried and contemplative\, allowing time 
 for personal reflection as we enter more deeply into the meaning of Good F
 riday. \n\nWhether you come regularly to church or are simply looking for 
 a quiet place to reflect at this significant point in the year\, you will 
 be very welcome.\n\nCome and take time to be still\, to reflect\, and to s
