 \nThrough the powerful readings of the Passion according to St John\, toge
 ther with passages from Isaiah and the Psalms\, we will walk carefully thr
 ough the story of Jesus’ suffering and death. The service is marked by s
 tillness\, reflection and music\, allowing time to enter deeply into the m
 eaning of this most sacred day. \n\nDuring the Vigil we will also pray for
  the needs of the world: for the Church\, for the nations\, for those who 
 suffer\, and for all people everywhere. Good Friday reminds us that Christ
 ’s love is given for the whole world\, and we bring that world before Go
 d in prayer. \n\nThis is a quiet and contemplative service. Whether you co
 me regularly to church or are simply seeking a place to reflect\, you are 
 warmly welcome to join us as we wait in the shadow of the cross and prepar
