We want to let you know that we are planning changes at the church. Our objective is to create a space that is accessible to all for praise-filled worship, concerts, clubs and other get togethers.

The main changes are to:

a lay a water supply to the church

b install an internal toilet at the west end of the church, and

c relay the path to the church, removing the present steps down into the church porch to give ease of access to the building for those with mobility issues.

Our village church will still look the same! The proposed changes will not affect the external infrastructure. However, we believe that these changes will keep our church at the heart of our community, be more easily accessed and personally more comfortable to attend.

The detailed plans are on display in the church on the side of the organ. Do please visit and have a look. The plans also allow in due course for the installation of a small servery, but not just yet.

We are hoping you will feel able to support these works. If you can help financially, please contact our treasurer, Simon Williams on 01284 850045 or the Parish Office on 01284 850857. Your support will be very much appreciated.

The last significant change made to the inside of the church was in the nineteen eighties when the chancel (south end) was beautifully re-ordered. These proposed changes are of a different nature but, once complete, will be as gratefully acknowledged.

Thank you

From the Churchwardens
