 ssle has always been interwoven with All Saints' Church\, as is community 
 life today. The project\, alongside our restoration of the tower\, will ex
 plore that heritage and those connections\, and in doing so\, give them ne
 w life. We will not just restore the building\, but through art\, dance an
 d music\, it will help maintain the living heritage of the community\, inv
 olving new generations in sharing all that makes Hessle what it is and alw
 ays has been.”\n- Vicar Rev Gemma Turner\n\nBringing together heritage a
 nd the arts. The community project aims to bring the local community toget
 her through an engagement programme designed by Fred Garland and Olwyn Rea
 ding\, which will run throughout the restoration and feature multimedia el
 ements such as film\, art\, singing\, and dancing.\n\nTENFOOT DANCE.\nA lo
 cal contemporary dance company run by Fred Garland and Jon Beney.\nIn conj
 unction with Laramedia\, a short film looking at the history of Hessle All
  Saints' Church and its communities will be created. Jon Beney will be lea
 ding the medieval movement session in May.\nSessions throughout May\, on S
 undays - May 3rd\, 10th\, 17th\, 24th\, with filming! on the 24th. \n\nCho
 ral/music sessions at All Saint’s Church:\nThese will start from Tuesday
  5th May 6.30 pm until 7:45 pm approx.\nPaul Benson will be advising and l
 iaising with those to be involved.\n\nA brand-new chorale inspired by Psal
 m 121 and the current restoration works being carried out on the church sp
 ire is being composed. This chorale will form the soundtrack to the film.\
 n\nThe film will be released on All Saints' Day (Sunday\, 1st November)\, 
 as will all the other project outcomes\, in an exhibition inside the churc
 h. The movement sessions are based on medieval dance accessibly designed f
 or everyone\, no previous dance experience required.\n\nInterested? Contac
