 nesday at Hull Minster\, from 1.30 - 2.30pm).\n\nIn our frantic and noisy 
 world\, we all need to find ways into stillness and silence\, where we c
 an be in simplicity with God. To help with this\, each week we will be hos
 ting a short time of Christian meditation (30mins) followed by some time o
 f reflective prayer with a passage from scripture (lectio divina) at Hull 
 Minster. \n\nLaurence Freeman\, from the World Community of Christian Med
 itation\, describes Christian meditation as a "spiritual practice which gu
 ides us into the prayer of Christ. It brings us to silence\, stillness and
  simplicity by a means that is itself silent\, still and simple". Join us 
 as we seek to enter deeply into this simple\, still\, silent prayer of Chr
 ist.\n\nPrior to the Christian Meditation and Prayer Gathering\, Hull Mins
 ter will be holding their lunchtime Holy Communion service\, at 12.30pm\, 
 to which you are most welcome.
