DESCRIPTION:Midsummer’s Day has long been a day for showing our apprecia
 tion of the gifts of nature. John the Baptist\, or the Forerunner\, is som
 eone from whom we can learn much that is relevant to this.\nThis event is 
 something of an experiment. It will include the reading of some poems\; so
 me reflections\; exploration of the garden if you wish to do that…….ti
 me for conversation\, and time for prayer.\nThere is some feeling that it 
 would be good to have opportunities for quiet\, reflective times together\
 ; for occasional outside events\; for celebrations of more saints’ days.
