DESCRIPTION:Dear friends\,\n\n\n\nSunday 25 October – A special opportun
ity to worship together\n\n\n\nThis Sunday there will be no morning servic
es in any of our Middle Esk Moor churches. Instead\, we're joining with An
glican congregations from across our area for a special united Deanery ser
vice in Whitby.\n\n\n\n10.30 am – Whitby Deanery United Service\n\nSt Hi
lda's Church\, Church Square\, Whitby\n\n\n\nThis will be the one morning
service for all our Anglican churches across Whitby Deanery.\n\n\n\nIt's a
lovely opportunity to come together as a wider church family\, to worship
\, pray and share in our faith with people from neighbouring parishes.\n\n
\n\nI do hope that as many of us as possible from Goathland\, Grosmont\, E
gton\, Glaisdale and Lealholm will make the journey to Whitby. It would be
wonderful to see our churches well represented.\n\n\n\n5.30 pm – Taizé
  Service\n\nSt Thomas' Church\, Glaisdale\n\n\n\nIn the evening\, we'll ga
ther again for our monthly Taizé service.\n\n\n\nThis is a gentle\, refle
ctive time of worship\, with simple repeated songs\, prayer and silence. A
n opportunity to find a little stillness at the end of the day and rest in
  God's presence.\n\n\n\nEveryone is warmly welcome\, whether you've been t
o Taizé before or would simply like to come and experience it.\n\n\n\nPle
ase note the 5.30 pm start time\, rather than 6 pm as shown in some earlie
r notices.\n\n\n\nAnd don't forget that the clocks go back one hour overni
ght on Saturday!\n\n\n\nI hope you'll be able to join us for one or both o
 f these gatherings.\n\n\n\nWith all good wishes\,\n\n\n\nAnthony
