St Mary the Virgin Huntingfield
As we slowly emerge from lockdown it is with a big smile on my face that I can bring you a number of dates for your calendar!
The first weekend in May we are planning our official 'Re-opening' of the church starting with a 'Clear-up the Churchyard day' on Sat 1st May commencing at 10am. Please come and join us and help make a difference. An hour or more of your time will go a long way, we look forward to seeing old and new faces. Don't forget your gardening gloves, trowels, shears etc! Light refreshments will be provided.
Sunday 2nd May
A service @ 11am in the church of 'Quiet reflection and music' All welcome. (Please adhere to social distancing rules, face masks and sit in family bubbles.)
The church will then hold their regular monthly services, dates to be published.
The APCM will take place on Thurs May 20th @ 6.30pm in the church.
Sunday 27th June A service of Thanksgiving with HYMNS! (time to be advised)
Sat 10th July; The PCC will be hosting an afternoon of 'Tea and Cake' in the churchyard (inside if weather is bad) with a tabletop sale. If anyone is interested in reserving a table, please email; [email protected] More details to follow.
Sat 11th Sept; Suffolk Historic Churches Cycle ride. Once again, we will be part of this great fund-raising activity for our beautiful churches and finally...
Sat 18th Sept we will be hosting 'A Harvest Supper' in The Hub, Huntingfield and welcoming our new Team Rector, Dominic Doble. More details to follow.
So, dust off your calendars and start entering the dates, we really can't wait to see you all!
