DESCRIPTION:​A special ecumenical service prepared by all Christian chur
 ches in Fontainebleau and its area will take place at the Couvent des Carm
 es in Avon on Thursday 16 October 2025 from 8PM for the 340th anniversary 
 of the Edict of Fontainebleau which revoked the Protestant religion in Fra
 nce in October 1685. Our chaplain will be one of the priests leading the s
 ervice\; the service sheet is attached.\n\nSeveral events are also organis
 ed by our friends from the EPUF Fontainebleau (Protestant church) during t
 hat week – see the booklet pages included in the service sheet.
