 memorate the anniversary of the end of the second World War which took pla
 ce in the Pacific regions.\nAs we remember the many soldiers\, sailors and
  airmen who gave their lives restraining evil and opposing tyranny\, we gi
 ve thanks for those who continue to strive for peace  in our world as it i
 s.\nThere will be a minute silence at 11am for all those who have laid dow
 n there lives and following the service there will be refreshments at the 
 back of the Church.\nThe service is a very reflective and tender one and w
 e hope you can join us as we pray for world peace.
