Policies - Fair Trade
The PCC on 23 September 2010 agreed to work towards being a Fair Trade Church this was proposed by Clare Dare and seconded by Janet Crompton-Allison.
The Diocese of Gloucester also has Fairtrade status. This means that 50% of the Diocese churches are using fair trade products and are committed to promoting Fairtrade to others.
Since then we have achieved Fairtrade Church status and Emmanuel Church was registered as a Fairtrade Church from 24 June 2013.
This policy will be reviewed annually by the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and a report will be on the agenda at the AGM.
This policy was adopted or last reviewed by the PCC on 18th July 2019
