DESCRIPTION:Our celebration of Easter 20234 begins with the lighting of th
 e new fire\, and the blessing and lighting of our Easter Candle. In good w
 eather this will happen outside of the church porch. We move into church a
 nd proclaim the Good News of the resurrection. A series of readings and ps
 alms follows\, reminding us of the plan of salvation. The Gloria and the c
 hurch bells ring out\, all the candles and lamps in the church are lit\, a
 nd our font is blessing and baptism pledges renewed. The first mass of Eas
 ter follows.
