Revd Michael Womack has now retired from the Hoxne Benefice and we are all sad to see him go: we shall miss his ministry and loving pastoral concern, as also that of his wife Mary - not to mention Monty the dog. Owing to the Covid-19 crisis, we were not able to hold the planned farewell service and lunch on 29th March. Benefice gifts have, however, been presented (including trees and shrubs for their new garden) and the plan is to invite them back for a celebration later in the year.It so happened, then, that Michael's last service in the benefice was a very happy one: a baptism, here in St Margarets. A good memory to take away.<span style="font-size: 1rem;">We wish him and we do keep in touch.</span>
