At Easter, the Benefice of Looe and Morval, which covers the churches of St Martin and St Nicholas in Looe and St Wenna in Morval, will be saying 'goodbye' to Philip, who has been our priest for the past ten years. The transition will also involve a new pastoral grouping, with the parishes of Duloe and Herodsfoot joining the existing benefice. As we wish Philip all the very best for the future, we pray for ourselves in the words of the Transition Prayer:

Dear Lord, our God and Father,

in this time of transition,

give us eyes to see Your presence in our lives,

ears to listen to Your will,

lips to speak Your words,

and hands to do Your work.

Grant us grace and go before us,

as we seek Your Holy Spirit’s counsel,

as we live in community during this time,

and as we prepare for the arrival of a new priest in our midst.

In Your name we pray,

in sure and certain hope of Your promises to us.
