Starting on Sunday 12th July, there will be a weekly service at 11am. Distancing regulations mean that spaces will be indicated for a maximum of 15 individuals or couples a who can sit together. Singing will sadly not be allowed, but there will be music for reflection during the service, and Communion will be safely distributed. For the time being, neither refreshments after the service nor toilet facilities can be provided.
On Saturdays, starting 27th June, St Wenna's will be available for private prayer 10am - 4pm. To ensure safety, spaces for a maximum of 5 people (or couples allowed to be together) are marked, as are clear directions around the church.
In response to Church of England instructions, all church services are suspended for the immediate future, and for as long as current guidelines are in force.St Wenna’s church will remain open for private prayer or just somewhere to sit quietly. Over the Easter period, the Easter Garden will be in place, and Easter lilies will be displayed in memory of loved ones. This does not mean that our Christian lives are on hold; we continue to pray for everyone in our community and beyond.
