DESCRIPTION:The Parish Pantry at St Edmund’s Church\, Felixstowe\, is a 
 community-led initiative dedicated to reducing food waste and supporting l
 ocal people with free\, good-quality food. Working in partnership with loc
 al retailers including Morrisons\, Marks & Spencer\, Lidl\, Sainsbury’s 
 and The Bread Basket\, the pantry redistributes surplus food that would ot
 herwise go to landfill.\n\nOpen every Wednesday and Friday from 10am\, and
  Sundays from 9am\, the pantry welcomes everyone in the community. A 24/7 
 Perishable Food Hut also provides access to fresh food outside opening hou
 rs\, ensuring help is available whenever it’s needed.\n\nMore than just 
 a food project\, the Parish Pantry is a place where people can connect\, r
 eceive support\, and feel part of their local community. Based at St Edmun
 d’s Church\, the initiative reflects the church’s commitment to servin
 g Felixstowe with compassion\, dignity and practical care.\n\nOur mission 
 is simple: more tummies filled\, less food wasted\, and a stronger communi
 ty for everyone.
