We are delighted to announce that Sunday services will begin again on Sunday 5th July. Initially the pattern of services will be the same each week as follows

8.00 a.m. Holy Communion in Church (Prayer Book)

9.30 a.m. Rise and Shine in Church with music

10.00 a.m. Zoom service via the internet

11.00 a.m. Holy Communion in Church with music.

All the services in Church will be shorter than usual.

There will be no Sunday evening services but there will be Evening Prayer in Church on Wednesdays at 7.30 p.m.

It is very important that everyone is kept safe at all times. Therefore 2 metres social distancing must be observed at all times inside the church. Many of the pews will be roped off and there will be a steward to assist you with finding somewhere to sit and guiding you to the hand-gel to be used on entry to the church. Please go straight to a pew after arriving at church.

One of the toilets will be open, but we are not expecting it to be much in use, bearing in mind that refreshments will not be served and services will be shorter.

At the communion services you will be invited to come forward and remain standing to receive just the bread. I will be wearing a face mask throughout that time. Further explanation will be given at the service.

Children are welcome but they must remain with their parent(s) throughout the time in church. The children’s area will not be available.

After each service you will be asked to leave the church straight away.

This may all seem a bit much but we are trying to carefully observe the mass of official guidance we have given and to keep everyone safe. Please endeavour to co-operate with us to make sure others feel safe as well.

We do hope you will be able to come but will, of course, understand if you prefer to stay at home. The weekly Zoom service will continue for the foreseeable future.
