DESCRIPTION:This is the 20th consecutive year of the Christmas Tree Festiv
 al where individuals\, groups and organizations have been invited to decor
 ate a tree.  This year the theme of the festival is Hope\, Peace and Love\
 , with the intention of highlighting the Christian element of Christmas.  
 \n\nThe festival began with the 'Grand Lights Switch-on' on Friday 22nd No
 vember at 6pm by Charlie Haylock\, a noted local author and raconteur. \n\
 nThe festival will be open from Tuesday to Saturday\, 9am to 3pm up to and
  including 24th December.\n\nOn 10th and 17th December from 5:30pm to 7:30
 pm there will be two special 'Sensory Evenings'\, for those with particula
 r sensory needs who would appreciate being able to visit without any unnec
 essary noise.  These will be two quiet evenings with no music.\n\nIf you'd
  like to come to see the trees lit up at night\, there are two late openin
 g evenings for the general public on Thursdays 12th and 19th December from
  5:30pm to 7:30pm.\n\nThere is no charge to visit\, but donations are grat
 efully received to help with the upkeep of our ancient church building.
