(I’m giving you lots of notice!) How is t he Holy Spirit encouraging you in your Christian life? The receiving of th e Holy Spirit by the disciples of Jesus was a time of wonder and joy\, and without a little bit of what do we do now. That happens for us too. Being a disciple of Jesus is a wonderful and joyful calling. We serve in his na me\; to act his eyes\, hands and feet in this modern world. Bringing com fort\, love and kindness to those that we meet in his name. Annual Parochi al Church Meetings are now complete\, and I wish to welcome new Churchward ens and PCC members\, thank those who are continuing in post and very grat eful thanks to those who have stood down following years of faith service. Following Trinity Sunday on the 31st of May we enter the period of the ch urch calendar known as Ordinary Time (Green is the colour of that season). It is far from being ordinary. It is a time when we can think about our s acrificial life in Jesus. There are no large festivals during this period so we can concentrate on building up our lives through service\, study\, c ommunity. Bible Studies will begin again in June with Reverend Rosemary le ading off. Corinna will lead the monthly “beginners” offering and we w ill have an evening study during the summer which is offered to those wish ing to know more and explore.
