DESCRIPTION:The annual cycle of the Church's year ends with the Feast of C
 hrist the King. The year that began with the hope of the coming Messiah (A
 dvent) ends with the proclamation of Christs universal sovereignty.\n\nThe
  ascension of Christ has revealed him to be the Lord of earth and heaven\,
  and final judgement is one of his proper kingly purposes. The Feast of Ch
 rist the King returns us to the Advent theme of judgement\, with which the
  cycle of the Church's year begins again next Sunday.\n\nOur bible reading
 s this week are: Jeremiah 23:1-6 Colossians 1:11-20\; Luke 23:33-43.\n\nOu
