DESCRIPTION:We are now in the season of Lent. It is a time for self-examin
 ation\, penitence\, self-denial\, study\, alms-giving\, all in preparation
  for Easter.  It lasts for forty days and forty nights reminding us of Jes
 us' time spent in the wilderness\, being tested by Satan.\n\nIf you are un
 able to attend a service in one of our churches\, either through ill healt
 h or infirmity\, then you are warmly invited to join in with our Rector\, 
 The Revd Mark Woodrow in an act of Spiritual Communion from your own home\
 , as he celebrates Holy Communion from the Vicarage.\n\nThe readings for t
 oday are Isaiah 55:1-9\,  1 Corinthians 10:1-13\, and Luke 13:1-9.\n\nThe
