As you make your Christmas puddings a reflection on Christ the King. In today's parable no-one recognises the king in the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the sick, the naked or the prisoner, but some help him and some do not. Mother Teresa looked on all those she helped as Christ in his 'distressing disguise' and this thought inspired the work of her order. In each one she helped she saw Christ the King. As we prepare for Christmas let us consider who we treat as king in our lives? Where do we recognise the face of Christ? And what is our response?
