DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday marks the night of the Last Supper as told in 
 the `Bible. Maundy is named after the Latin word 'mandate' meaning command
  or mandate. It refers to the new commandment Jesus gave his disciples at 
 the Last Supper - "Love one another as I have loved you" immediately after
  washing their feet. There will be an opportunity to have your feet washed
  by our Incumbent during this service though this is not obligatory. It ca
 n be quite meaningful.\nAt the end of this service the Altar will be clear
 ed and stripped bare in preparation for the following day  which is Good F
 riday\, the day Jesus died on the cross.\nThis service will take place at 
 St Peters Monks Eleigh at 6pm.
