Tier 4 - Coronavirus
Following the recent government announcement, Berkshire will be in Tier 4 from Sunday 20th December.
You can attend places of worship for a service. However, you must not mingle with anyone outside of your household or support bubble.
If you live in a Tier 4 area, you must follow the rules below from Sunday 20 December. This means that you cannot meet other people indoors, including over the Christmas period, unless you live with them, or they are part of your existing support bubble. Outdoors, you can only meet one person from another household. These rules will not be relaxed for Christmas.
Our Christmas services in church (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) will still be going ahead but please do not attend if you have any symptoms of coronavirus and please adhere to all social distancing guidelines and do not mingle with others outside of your household.
Services will be held on-line virtually via 'Zoom' after Christmas Day - please see 'December and January' services tab for the zoom link.
As a reminder please do not attend church if you have any of the following symptoms:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Please inform us if you test positive for coronavirus so we can follow up with others that might have come into contact with you in church. You can contact us at [email protected] or telephone the parish office on 0118 9502620
We wish you a safe, happy and holy Christmas.
