Debenham and Helmingham Benefice

Welcome to the Benefice of Debenham & Helmingham. We are a lovely rural benefice of seven parishes; each with its own unique beautiful medieval church building and each with a friendly welcoming congregation.

Our buildings remain closed some or all of the time. The details of those open for private, individual prayer can be found below.

We continue to worship together in 'zoom church' each Sunday morning at 9.30am. The login details are posted each Saturday on our facebook page. Or you could contact Rev'd Susan who will be pleased to send you the link. This is the link to our facebook page

We also have a short 11am Holy Communion service in Debenham church each Sunday.

The following buildings in our benefice are open for individual private prayer.

St Mary Magdalene Church, Debenham - Wednesday 1-4pm

All Saints, Kenton - Wednesday and Sunday 10am - 4pm

Helmingham - upon appointment, please contact Rev'd Susan in the first instance.

A prayer at this time:

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
