  signs on the streets we merrily pass by without even noticing.  He uncove
 rs hidden urban archaeology and shares fascinating stories & long lost tal
 es that’ll probably have you bumping into other people and lamp-posts\, 
 as you go and discover what he found.\n\nBorin Van Loon\, British author\,
  painter\, illustrator and comic book artist has been photographing exampl
 es of old lettering on the walls of buildings in and around Ipswich since 
 the 1990s. In this talk\, Borin will focus on a wide range of signs and le
 ttering which evoke the rich past of Ipswich and its people\, which adds t
 o the story of the town’s development from an ancient port to a major in
 dustrial town and commercial centre.  The talk will also include material 
 from contributors to the Ipswich Historic Lettering website\, a special pr
