Christmas

23 Nov 2020, 1 p.m.

Our Notice Sheet contains details of services and other events as we continue our mission and ministry through the pandemic.

Christmas and Carols round the Pump

This year we will be unable to hold "Carols round the Pump" in the normal way and gather physically BUT we are hoping that many will be able to join together virtually for a "Carols round the Community" on Sunday 20th December at 6.30pm.

Wollaton Churches will be streaming "Carols round the Community" and invite you to consider gathering outside your homes, perhaps co-ordinating with others in your road, to join in singing some carols together.

We are also encouraging households or perhaps streets/roads to consider putting up a nativity display in front windows, gardens or porches and to let us know what you have set up, and where, by sending a photo to [email protected]. We will then put together a "Wollaton Nativity Trail" map which we hope many in the communtity might use to walk around Wollaton and enjoy looking at what has been set up.

During the period leading up to Christmas there will be Nativity scenes outside and inside St Leonard's (assuming we are allowed to open up the church building). Families may wish to visit, perhaps with children in costume, and take a photograph in front of the scene.

The Wollaton Churches will be holding other services online. Please keep you eyes on the church websites and look out for publicity with further information as we move closer to Christmas.
