We currently have three campaigns for the church. There are two campaigns for capital expenditure.
The first us to raise £18,000 to repair the damage to the wall memorials in the church, caused by using cast iron supports and now we must exchange these for stainless steel and repair the damage. You can donate here - or you can use the QR code on the sheet attached. https://givealittle.co/campaigns/8a1a6688-d25c-4a93-a130-cd76431d02de
The second is to raise £14,000 to set up a field next to the church as an extension to the graveyard. New paths need to be constructed, a new slope properly supported and with handrails needs to be built, the Cornish hedge (wall) needs repairing, clearing of weeds, trees need pruning and the filed need to be cleared of stumps, shrubs and then rotovated and reseeded. You can donate here - or use the QR code on the sheet attached. https://givealittle.co/campaigns/2584a3d2-3318-4fb6-a508-48237702768c
The third is to encourage people with an interest in our church whether through its history, its architecture or its Betjeman association to give a regular donation, no matter how small through Parish Giving. This is an official way to give through direct debit and allows us to claim the gift aid if you are a regular taxpayer. You can start this by contacting the PCC Secretary - Charles Whitehead on 07785 550032 or [email protected]
