Covid -19 UpdateGovernment statistics are showing that Covid-19 cases in Cornwall are rising VERY rapidly. The latest government stats are that the number of cases in Cornwall are currently in excess of 180 cases per 100,000, a rise from a low of single figures at the end of May. St Ives and Falmouth were the initial hotspots but this virus spreads rapidly. We aren't immune from what goes on elsewhere in the county, so I ask you to please be aware and be careful. Have a good read of the government's Covid-19 guidance again and make sure that all in your household stick to it.
And please remember that vaccination does not give 100% protection.
HOW DOES ALL THIS AFFECT OUR CHURCH?
Please remember that face coverings must be worn in church AT ALL TIMES and social distancing must be maintained. Pews have been strategically taped off to ensure this is the case when seated. Hand cleansing on entry must be applied, using the sanitizers provided both in the porch and inside the church, and you would be advised to apply hand cleansing on exit.
It is regretted that, at the moment, no congregational singing is possible.
