The Revd Alison Hardy - our Priest in Charge

Alison & Chris farm at Virginstow in Devon, where they raised a family of five children with the help of their own parents who also live on the farm. She enjoys spending time with her growing family and continues to help on the farm during busy seasons with a regular lambing holiday in the spring. She now lives in Egloskerry Vicarage with her youngest daughter, Sammy and her one-eyed, three legged sheep dog, Belle, who continues to work the sheep.

Alison was ordained in 2014 in Truro Cathedral. She was a curate in Stratton, Bude, Marhamchurch, Launcells, Kilkhampton and Morwenstow. Alison moved to Launceston in 2018 when she was licensed as the parish priest and was appointed as Rector to North Petherwin in 2021. She continues to work in Launceston and seven rural churches alongside North Petherwin: Egloskerry, Tremaine, Trewen, Laneast, St Clether, Davidstow, with the help of Revd Nicki
