DESCRIPTION:On Holy Saturday (Easter Eve)\, April 19\, there will be a Vig
 il and First Eucharist of Easter at St John’s\, starting at 9.00pm. This
  service marks the climax of the Christian year and it is moving\, beautif
 ul\, and powerful. We will begin outside and take the new Easter candle in
 to the dark church\, where we will listen to a set of readings from the Ol
 d Testament\, after which we will celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter 
 with much joy. The whole service should last between 90 minutes and two ho
 urs\, and refreshments will be served afterwards.
