Happy new year to all. This year St Sampson’s Church has found new ways of doing things and welcomed new people through its doors. We have mastered zoom technology and been grateful for our gentle, rural setting. We have astonishingly raised £150,000 towards the £500,000 target of our St Sampson’s Unlocked project.  The dream is becoming a reality for the restoration . Mains water now installed, font moved and three pews gone. Window work to start in the new year. Plans, permissions and more funding applications in progress. Many thanks to everyone for their support. We are an amazing community here at South Hill and Our church members are proud and humbled to be part of it. We look forward to many celebratory services and events this year, when it is safe to meet in larger numbers.
